Synopsis:
Willets Point, is a family drama that centers on Guillo and Doris Blanco, a young couple living in Queens New York along with their 9 year old daughter. Their financial and personal problems catch up with them when they are threatened with eviction. Their marriage is tested when these unbearable circumstances brings to light a troubled past and threatens the future they all share.

Bio:
T.J. Collins (writer/director)
Is an award winning filmmaker in New York who has written, directed and produced several short and feature length films. He recently released his feature film directorial debut with “WILLETS POINT” starring Lorraine Rodriguez and Alfredo Suarez.

Mr. Collins has also volunteered in the film and television industry. He is serving a second term as Vice President of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers New York Chapter. He has also served as a peer judge for the 2007 New York Emmy awards and is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences New York Chapter. More recently he was selected NALIP Writers Lab Fellow and Latino Producers Lab fellow 2009. Other member affiliations would include the IFP, Film Independent, and the Long Island Film Foundation.
