Berta, a 34 year old woman, fed up with being battered by her husband Antonio, of about 38, decides to leave her place. Antonio, in a search for a substitute, hires a company that claims to supply “Human-looking automatic devices”, providing him with a nearly perfect replica of his wife. The android doesn’t fully satisfy Antonio, so he decides to take her back. The device company convinces Antonio to keep the device, as they would make her look more real.
Juan Parra Costa, (Barcelona, 1969). When he was 14 years old, he moved to Granada where he lived until he was 37 years old and where he works as a lawyer. In 2006 he decides to move to Madrid, where he studied screenwriting, filmmaking, editing, theatre and production in several centers like Bululu 2120, Taller de Cine, La Casa Encendida and ECAM.
