Synopsis:
At the age of 12, Milagros Cohen has a crisis of identity and faith. She learns from her friends that she is "Nothing". She is half Jewish, half Puerto Rican, and no religion to speak of, Nothing. Her Puerto Rican Grandmother helps to hammer this point home. In a desperate effort to fit in and to earn her salvation, Milly sets out to perform one glorious heaven-worthy Miracle.
