Synopsis:
CHOCOLATE COUNTRY tells the fascinating, triumphant and music-filled story of the struggling Dominican farmers who provide the bulk of the world's chocolate crop. With help from two Peace Corps volunteers, they form a chocolate collective to capitalize on the first-world's demand for "organic" and "fair trade" products.

Bio:
Robin Blotnick has worked as a screenplay and book reviewer for Walden Media, and as an editor on scores of documentaries, narrative films, music videos and the like, as well as commercial projects for clients like Evian, about.com, Wellspring and college sports TV. He is currently shooting “Gods and Kings”, A feature about media and magic in the highlands of Guatemala.
